We got a call for this solar panel cleaning job and within 24 hours we had it scheduled and completed.
The panels on this home weren’t particularly soiled, or at least they didn’t look that bad from the ground view. But when we got going we could quickly tell the panels were covered in a subtle layer or dirt and dust and pollen and even some areas of microbial growth. This home was near a lake and the whole neighborhood had large oak trees throughout.
As the above image shows, a clean panel creates a stark contrast with a dirty one. This photo shows a few shiny panels (clean) and a few panels yet to be cleaned. One of the most common objections to our services we get is “but won’t the rain clean my panels?!?”
The reality is, if that were the case, than the world would have no need for car washes or window cleaning companies. But as you all know, especially in Florida during pollen season, that is not the reality.
The best part about this job was the customer coming out about halfway through with his smartphone app showing an immediate jump in electrical production of 10-15%!
